Any recommendations for hotels in Venice for a long weekend?

I am currently blinded by all the availability on internet. I want family friendly, clean, quiet at night and close to tourist sites. Don’t need loads of facilities. I’ll check out any suggestions you have if you have recently visited.

Hi Emily,
Try the links below and I hope they help you! Have a great time! I’m not sure when you are going to Venice, but keep in mind that High season in Venice is about March 15 to November 5, with a lull in July and August (when hotel discounts are often offered). Some small hotels close (sometimes without notice or to do renovation work) November or December until Carnival, opening for about 2 weeks around Christmas and New Year’s at high-season rates.

I can recommend the Hotel Rialto, which is at the foot of the Rialto Bridge. I have also stayed at other hotels in Venice which fit your requirements. I am a travel agent and would be glad to assist if you wish.
