Looking for good hong kong hotels, any comments on Central Park Hotel in Hong Kong?

I’m checking hotels in central or wan chai near admiralty (those 5-star hotels in admiralty are too expensive for me & so out of my consideration). Is central park nice?

I stayed here once, happy to see you asking this hotel for I have a chance to share with you the real Central park - definitely not what was said in their official hotel website… the room was sooooo…….. SMALL & you’re like a mouse being trapped inside a mouse trap. The bathroom it’s like being built on the corridor of the floor, the layout of the room is really something even an experienced globe-trotter will find interesting.
SErvice is far from mediocre… staff seems not very attentive.

a so called hip hotel, yet not really boutique to me, a bit disappointing indeed. perhaps better call it budget hotel, as it offers you nothing more than a space to stay over the night.
There’s no proper restaurant inside the hotel, but lucky enough, the hotel is near quite a number of dining options nearby which are, however, expenisve!!

Never been there, but apparently there’re a no. of choices in the district you preferred - check Wesley (cheap but old hotel - so it depends on what you define as “good”), YMCA in the mid-level (very affordable) etc.

You can try staying at Wan Chai in HK island. My friends stayed at this hotel before and I found it very reasonable with the quality of the services provided. It is walking distance to Causeway Bay shopping area.
Or else you prefer something in Central, you can check out further.
